Participants
The training is directed at youth workers who already have some experience in working with the programme YOUTH and who are interested in implementing high quality projects with partners in East and West.

Organizations from all programme countries and from the CIS region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine) are eligible to take part.

Content
A) New programme YOUTH in Action 2007-2013, and fostering of projects (50% of training):
- presentation of and workshops on the new programme YOUTH in Action 2007-2013;
- creating and proposing new projects;
- making selected projects concrete, handshake on partnerships.

B) Management of international youth exchange and volunteering activities, and management of an NPO (the other 50% of the training):
- human resources management, especially emphasizing on volunteer management;
- strategic management and quality assurance;
- project management (planning, implementation, controlling and evaluation);
- marketing and PR;
- selected aspects of financial management I: budgetting, controlling and accounting/reporting;
- selected aspects of financial management II: fundraising.

Costs
If approved by the European Commission, all costs will be covered except for 30% of travel costs and a participation fee of EUR 50.
