Дедлайн - 31 січня 2017 р. Центр сучасної культури Барселони нагороджує культурні проекти, спрямовані на підвищення поінформованості суспільства про зміни клімату та посилення екологічної відповідальності суспільства. Подавати заявки на премію можна індивідуально та групою. Лауреат премії отримає 20 тис. євро на впровадження свого проекту. Найкращий проект буде представлений на виставці Центру сучасної культури Барселони (далі - англ.).

The second edition of the Cultural Innovation International Prize encourages projects that offer imaginative and effective solutions to one of the biggest global problems of the 21st century. The winning proposal will be included in an exhibition on the subject at the CCCB.

Climate change is one of the central themes of the CCCB’s 2016-2017 programme. In the course of the year we’ll be offering activities, talks and a major exhibition with the aim of addressing what we see as one of the biggest challenges facing humankind.

Year two of the International Prize for Cultural Innovation marks the start of this annual interdisciplinary agenda and opens the debate about the role that culture and cultural institutions can play in helping to address the problem.

Can we analyse global warming beyond catastrophist viewpoints or technological solutions? Can we contribute to the need for an ecological ethic and collective environmental responsibility? Can we act as catalysts of change?

Eligibility Criteria

• Natural persons aged 18 or over living in any country. They may enter individually or as a group.
• Non-profit legal persons (foundations, associations, cooperatives…) resident in any country.
• A group consisting of any of the above.
• Non-Eligible
  • Employees of the CCCB, members of the Jury and Technical Commission.
  • For-profit legal persons.
  • Public administrations or any associated bodies.
  • Winners of the previous prizes.

Projects must be submitted to the Prize via the website www.innovationcccb. org/registration. Projects submitted in a physical format will not be accepted. You must register on the website to be able to present your project. We recommend you consult the registration guide before registering. 

The prize money is awarded to carry out the winning proposal. This amount will be divided between fees and production costs (including travel and accommodation expenses, as necessary). Once the Prize has been awarded, a definitive estimate will be made with the assistance of the CCCB team to value the proposal’s requirements.
