The Ukraine NGO Forum was established in the autumn of 2014 to facilitate information sharing, coordination and advocacy activities in order to enhance the impact and effectiveness of humanitarian and recovery activities in Ukraine, based on ethical obligations, transparency and accountability.

The NGO Forum is a membership organization that welcomes participation by international and national NGO’s in Ukraine working with humanitarian assistance, recovery and/or development. The NGO Forum for Ukraine works closely with Ukrainian and international NGO’s, as well non-traditional humanitarian actors, including agencies, departments and offices of United Nations and Ukrainian government. The NGO Forum is committed to working with as well as complementing existing coordination mechanisms in Ukraine.

The NGO Forum play an important role minimizing gaps, and duplication as well as enhancing coordination and synergies in humanitarian activities and between NGOs.

The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring appropriate, accountable, and effective humanitarian and recovery actions in Ukraine by harmonizing and supporting NGO collective opinions and actions, and by providing consistent and constructive advocacy and service for the NGO community.

Job Title: Finance/HR manager

The role

Under the overall supervision of the Head of the NGO Forum, HR/Admin/Finance manager will have the following duties:

• Be responsible for the budget process of NGO Forum
• Be responsible for financial and procurement compliance with Donors requirements 
• Be responsible for managing new staff, contracts, salary payments, etc
• Support NGO Forum Secretariat and SC with needed administrative support , such as ticket purchase, rent of premises, service provider contracts
• Lead all the accounting when NGO Forum will be registered as Ukrainian NGO
• Be able to do analytical analyses of the tax procedures or other finance/hr questions for partner NGOs
• Be familiar with employment requirements and procedures in Ukraine 

Experience and skills

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of finance experience in combination with HR and admin
• Experienced in financial particularities of Ukrainian NGO ( as Ukrainian NGO Forum will be registered as  local NGO)
• Knowledge of the civil society specific is a plus
• Readiness and ability to multitask and with strict deadlines
• Service orientation, openness, and be prepared for continuous learning
• Critical and analytical perception
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian language.
