YMCA України шукає 2 волонтерів програми EVS у Німеччину. Дедлайн - 10 вересня 2017 р. (далі - англ.).

Background:

This project of LEB Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) takes place in two regions of our state and focuses on the topics of Media work, refugees, regional and local networks in Germany. Due to the previous work done, we have engaged a Ukrainian partner – YMCA Ukraine, who has many years of experience in EVS projects.

This project has two hosting organizations. Each will accept one volunteer to work and learn during 12 month.

Duties and responsibilities:

The volunteer at the first site will be involved in the topics of refugee social work and migration work. While the volunteer at the second site will be engaged in cooperation and development of a personal project on media coverage of the topics of refugee work/refugees/integration. He/She will also be involved in planning/preparation of a permanent exhibition on the refugee problem in Lower Saxony in cooperation with the Federal Office for migration and refugees (BAMF).

Within this constellation, both volunteers will be integrated in the LEB, municipal and local partners will meet and work directly with those who had fled. After the learning phase, volunteers will be able to construct and implement personal approaches and ideas. The local team will support them. The project name was chosen deliberately: “networking-refugees-media”, because for many years the strength of LEB has been concentrated in good regional and community networking. And now LEB will bring refugee and media work to a success.

Applicants will be selected together with our partners in Ukraine and will go through a preparation seminar in Lower Saxony. They will be mentored and coordinated during the project and evaluated after the project is over. Our projects are open especially for young people with fewer opportunities. The project duration will be 12 months. Participants will receive Youth Passes after the project is over.
Conditions:

Pocket money: 110 euro

Meals: 220 euro (self organized)

Necessary Qualifications:

Knowledge of German language not lower than A2
