The EU funded Project ‘Association4U’ (association4u.com.ua), aimed on enhancement of the capacities and performance of Ukraine’s governmental institutions to comprehensively implement their commitments arising from the Association Agreement, is seeking for Junior Sectoral/Communication Fellows to provide support to the Government of Ukraine in organizing the work of Helpdesks (profile on the issues under the EU-UA Association Agreement and Deep & Comprehensive Free Trade Area (AA/DCFTA).

The position is especially suitable for (nearly) graduated students with a Bachelor Degree.

The junior fellows will be offered a ‘paid internship’ which means you do not need working experience.

Successful candidates will receive coaching and support from international experts and Associate Fellows, as well as an induction training on various aspects EU integration and AA/DCFTA. The duration of internship for the successful candidates is expected until 31 October 2018.

• Ministry of Economic Development and Trade
• State Food Safety Service

The successful Junior Sectoral / Communication Fellow Candidate appointed to this important role will be required to perform on a full-time basis the following tasks:

• Consideration of the AA/DCFTA Implementation plans, policy objectives and priorities of Line Ministries (to understand the focus of content to be delivered);
• Desk-search of content for helpdesks in order to create content based on profile business & public inquiries.

The following professional qualities are required:

• Bachelor Degree in public relations/media/communications or relevant for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food
• Knowledge of English language (at least level B2 according to Common European Framework)
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Would be an advantage:

• General knowledge of the EU – Ukraine cooperation & AA
• Master’s Degree and/or postgraduate studies
• Knowledge of one of the ministry’s competencies and its recent EUI developments
