Посольство Канади оголошує конкурс на вакансію Common Services Assistant. Дедлайн - 3 вересня 2018 р. 

Summary of position:
Under the supervision of the CSO, the Common Services Assistant (CSA) is accountable for the provision of administrative support services of mission specific common services and the coordination of regionalized common services requests from the mission to the CSDP. Areas of responsibility primarily include human resources (staffing, position management, etc.) and finance (salaries, other payments), as well as contracting. The CSA will contribute to the development and support the implementation of new or improved systems, processes and procedures.
Essential qualifications:
Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, experience and language. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter and CV how they meet each of these essential qualifications.

Education:
• University degree from a recognized institution.

Language:
• High level of proficiency in English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Native fluency in Ukrainian (reading, writing and speaking)

Experience:
• Minimum two (2) years’ recent experience working in an administrative support capacity with a strong focus on client service;
• Recent experience working for an international organization/company or diplomatic mission (where recent is defined as the performance of duties within the last five (5) years)

Rated Requirements:
The Rated Requirements relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies will also be assessed. Methods of assessment may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment. 

Knowledge:
• Knowledge of basic administrative and financial practices and procedures
• Knowledge of basic human resources administration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Abilities and Competencies:
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
• Ability to communicate effectively in Ukrainian, both orally and in writing
• Adaptability and flexibility 
• Attention to detail
• Client focus
• Initiative
• Interpersonal skills
• Judgement, including ability to prioritize
• Professional integrit
Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who have the following asset qualifications. Candidates who meet the asset qualifications should clearly demonstrate how they meet these criteria in their cover letter.

Education:
• Completion of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, administration, economics, human resources, information management, management, or a similar field
• Completion of a post-graduate degree

Experience:
• Experience using SAP
• Experience in human resources
• Experience in information management
• Previous experience with the Canadian Government or in a public sector environment

Language:
• Knowledge of the French language (spoken and written)
 
Organizational Needs:
 
Operational Requirements:
• Ability to work occasional overtime (evenings, weekends if necessary)
• Ability to travel and attend offsite meetings
• Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per da
Condition(s) of Employment:
• Candidates must have a valid work authorization covering the entire employment period. If the employment is indeterminate, the work authorization should be permanent or itself lead to a permanent work authorization.
• Before an offer of employment can be made, candidates must provide a local address as proof of residence in Ukraine so that, if selected, it will appear on the letter of offer.
• Obtain and maintain a reliability rating (security clearance) from the Government of Canada covering the entire employment period.
