Лундський університет у Швеції оголошує набір на програму з розбудови потенціалу «Інновації в управлінні для екорішень у містах» на 2020-2021 роки. Дедлайн - 15 вересня 2020 року.

und University will deliver four new international education programmes within the Swedish Institute’s Public Sector Innovation Programme. The purpose is to strengthen the capacity of professionals to contribute to innovation in the public sector and support the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.

Between 1 July and 15 September 2020, two of these programmes are open for applications: Innovation for Change in Public Transport and Innovation in Governance for Urban Nature-based Solutions.

Innovation for Change in Public Transport

The programme focuses on strengthening the capacity for innovation and development of actors operating in public transport systems at local, regional or national level. The programme is provided by Lund University’s School of Economics and Management (LUSEM), Sweden’s National Center for Research and Education on Public Transport (K2) and Transport and Roads, Division of the Department of Technology and Society at the Faculty of Engineering (LTH) in collaboration with LUCE, the Department for Commissioned Education at Lund University.

You are encouraged to apply if you are a civil servant and decision-maker at central, regional or local level, are a professional in leading position, working with transport planning and management, mobility, accessibility issues in the public sector and employed by public transport authorities, public transport administrations, operators, municipalities and other authorities, are between 30 and 55 years of age, are from Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Tanzania, Ghana or Belarus and have a good command of the English language. 

Duration of the programme: October 2020–June 2021
Dates in Lund, Sweden: 1–8 May, 2021
Target countries: Colombia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Tanzania, Ghana and Belarus
Costs: Participation in this programme is free of charge. It includes travel to and from Sweden and meals and accommodation during the module in Sweden. The participant’s organisation is responsible for the costs for visas.

Innovation in Governance for Urban Nature-based Solutions

The programme focuses on governance and leadership innovation in the area of Nature-Based Solutions for improved urban environments. It is provided by the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) and Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) in collaboration with LUCE, the Department for Commissioned Education at Lund University.

You are encouraged to apply if you are involved in the governance of built infrastructure and systems that relate to natural resources, are working closely with management and/or governance activities or issues that are directly relevant to urban and peri-urban natural resources, are a mid-to-upper-level manager in larger city administrations in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia or Ukraine or are working in civil society, academia or in a multilateral organisation in these countries, are mid-career (e.g. typically 35–50 years of age), and have a good command of the English language.

Duration of the programme: October 2020-May 2021
Dates in Tbilisi, Georgia: 23–25 November 2020 (3-day workshop). This module might be conducted online due to Covid-19.
Dates in Lund, Sweden: April 2021 (7-day onsite module, exact dates TBD)
Target countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine
Costs: Participation in this programme is free of charge. It includes travel to and from Georgia and Sweden and meals and accommodation during onsite modules in Georgia and Sweden. The participant’s organisation is responsible for the costs for visas.
