GRANTS MANAGER
EPSA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Grants Manager.

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Grants Manager to join our Ukrainian team.
As our team continues to grow, we are opening an additional Grants Manager position to lead the structuring and development of complex grant-funded projects for a diverse range of organizations, including businesses, innovation initiatives, NGOs, associations, and other entities.
You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end grant application process, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and working closely with clients to structure projects aligned with donor requirements and funding opportunities.
This position requires a strong understanding of grant mechanisms, solid project management skills, and the ability to translate client needs into well-structured funding proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full grant lifecycle management (from client capacity analysis, concept validation to submission and post-award advisory).
- Lead communication with clients after initial sales stage.
- Conduct client needs analysis and assess funding readiness.
- Develop strategic funding roadmaps for clients (sequencing of grants, blended finance, loans, scaling pathways).
- Translate call analysis provided by Grant Analyst into structured funding strategy.
- Validate project logic, structure, and alignment with donor priorities and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate with internal specialists involved in proposal development and ensure alignment between technical, financial and strategic components of the grant application.
- Oversee proposal architecture.
- Ensure coherence between technical narrative, workplan, and financial model.
- Manage timelines, submission processes, and compliance requirements.
- Provide advisory support on partnerships, consortium building, and project structuring when required.
- Ensure internal quality control prior to submission.
- Monitor portfolio-level progress and internal workload distribution.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in grants management.
- Proven experience managing complex international donor-funded proposals (EU programs, Horizon Europe, EIC, etc.).
- Proven experience in preparing grant proposals and successful submissions for international donor programs and EU funding instruments.
- Strong ability to structure funding strategies beyond a single call and propose a roadmap.
- Experience in client advisory, stakeholder communication, and strategic positioning.
- Strong coordination skills in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong deadline and process management skills.
Education
Master’s degree in economics, public administration, international relations, engineering, innovation management, or related field.
Language Skills
English level B2+ required, C1 preferable (written and spoken)
Ukrainian – native or professional working proficiency
