CIPE шукає співробітника на посаду координатора проектів для просування демократичних та економічних реформ в Україні. Координатор співпрацюватиме з працівниками CIPE в Києві та Вашингтоні (далі - англ.)

CIPE seeks to hire a Kyiv-based Program Officer to support a set of projects to advance democratic and economic reform in Ukraine. The Program Officer will work closely with CIPE’s staff in both Kyiv and Washington. 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) is seeking experienced candidates for the position of the Program Officer.

Position: Program Officer, Ukraine

Based in: CIPE Kyiv Office

Reports To: Country Director, CIPE Ukraine Representative Office

Summary: CIPE seeks to hire a Kyiv-based Program Officer to support a set of projects to advance democratic and economic reform in Ukraine. The Program Officer will work closely with CIPE’s staff in both Kyiv and Washington.

Primary responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Develop content for, organize, plan and carry out major national-level and regional events and activities (conferences, roundtables, meetings, etc.) across Ukraine.
  • Report on the implementation of the program, program impact and anticipated achievements.
  • Interact with regional and national Ukrainian business leaders to gather input on policy reform issues.
  • Coordinate the provision of international expertise on policy reform issues.
  • Build and maintain government relationships necessary to advance business advocacy efforts.
  • Provide guidance to the Ukraine-based Program Assistant on areas such as drafting contracts, defining scopes of work for consultants, and ensuring successful logistics.
  • Liaise and work with the DC-based Ukraine program team

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of four years of project management and administrative office experience preferred.
  • Experience as a task leader for a major international donor project (USAID, EC, DFID etc.) connected to government relations, public-private dialogue, rule of law, or legislative and economic reform advocacy.
  • Experience working with foreign experts and developing contracts and scopes of work.
  • Experience coordinating large, high-profile public events.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communications stills; adept at public speaking and high-level government interaction.
  • Ability to take initiative and to manage multiple, detail-oriented tasks with short and overlapping deadlines, with limited supervision.
  • Fluent English, Russian, and Ukrainian required.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Must be willing to travel for extended and multiple periods throughout Ukraine.
  • Excellence in writing, reporting, and English composition.
  • Skilled at prioritizing and completing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, manage and supervise junior staff
  • Ability to work in a team environment 
  • Demonstrated strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Good financial acumen and ability to develop, manage and monitor project budgets
