People in Need (PIN) is the Czech Republic based NGO working in relief and development sectors. See more at www.peopleineed.cz. In early August 2014 PIN opened humanitarian response in Eastern Ukraine and the program is rapidly expanding. Focus is given on the assistance to the IDPs, returnees and population living in the contested areas in the sectors of food security, shelter and NFIs, early recovery and health. PIN is currently looking for medium-term office  engagement of deputy project manager  for the following program:

1. Winterization of internally displaced persons - OFDA project

Start-up date:   october 2014 (immediately)

Duration:            3- 6 month with the possibility of extension

Location:             office work in Slavjansk

 Main responsibilities:

• Supervision and management of project
• Reporting and data compilation

 Main requirements:

• Independent person with capacity to make own decisions
• Experience with management of people
• Good computer skills (Excel, Word, E-mail)
• Good communication skills
• Reliability, self-reliance, flexibility and healthy working habits
• Knowledge of English not required, but strongly preferred
• Previous experience with humanitarian work or charity organizations not required, but preferred
