The International Charitable Foundation ‘Alliance for Public Health‘ announces external recruitment to fill the position of Senior Program Manager: TB.

The International Charitable Foundation “Alliance for Public Health” is a leading non-governmental professional organization which makes a significant impact on the epidemics of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, viral hepatitis and other socially dangerous diseases in Ukraine in cooperation with state partners and civil society organizations through providing financial and technical support to relevant programs, which cover over 300,000 members of most vulnerable populations, which is the highest indicator in Europe. Alliance team includes over 100 professionals who are based in Kyiv.

Purpose: To supervise and coordinate overall implementation of the GFATM (and potentially other donors) activities related to the whole scope of TB diagnostics, treatment, contact tracing and social support for TB/DR-TB patients through patient centered approach as well as complementary activities. 

Contract type: civil contract 

Core Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of program managing experience in relevant spheres.
• Preferable to have experience in two or more of the following areas: TB and HIV/TB, health program management, public health administration, public health program development.
• Excellence in building partnership on national and regional level between state and civil society organizations, organizing national and regional coordination and consensus.
• Excellent understanding of challenging public health and policy environment of implementation of TB and HIV/TB programs.
• Knowledge of international best practices in the area of TB and HIV/TB.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian health care system and civil society organizations capacities and limitations, legal framework.
• Relevant education: medical, public health.
